USING LIGHTROOM PRESETS
Using Lightroom has the advantage to give you an easy platform from where to progress fast in photography editing with basic and more advanced adjustements.
We created our presets to simplify your editing and save you time is the process.
Lightroom Classic
STEP 1. GET THE SOFTWARE ON YOUR COMPUTER.
Download Lightroom Classic from your creative cloud and open it.
STEP 2. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN IMAGE IMPORTED
To make sure you can install presets you need to have at least one image imported in Lightroom, if you need to import go in the Library section and follow the importation steps.
STEP 3. IMPORT YOUR PRESETS
- Go in the Develop section in your top menu
- In the left column choose to open the "+" button
- Choose Import presets from the dropdown
- Select the ZIP file containing your presets for desktop
- Click on Import and you will now find your presets in the list in the left column
STEP 4:
Select the preset file you'd like to import to Lightroom Classic.
STEP 5:
Start using your presets on your photos.
Lightroom Premium
INSTALLING LIGHTROOM PRESETS
Getting the pro version of the app gives you the advantage to install your presets very quickly from your desktop software and have it synchronize on all your connected devices / mobile / tablet. Let’s get on the steps to install your presets ! The whole process takes only a few seconds
STEP 1. GET THE SOFTWARE ON YOUR DESKTOP DEVICE.
Download Lightroom CC from your creative cloud and open it. Be careful not to mistake it with Lightroom Classic for desktop, the software we want has a turquoise color and rounded corners
STEP 2. LAUNCH THE LIGHTROOM PREMIUM APP ON YOUR CREATIVE CLOUD
After you downloaded the Lightroom CC to your creative cloud clicked on the "Open" button the Lightroom Premium will launch.
STEP 3. IMPORT YOUR PRESETS IN THE SOFTWARE
Open the library / the photo section for an easy access and then follow these steps:
- In the top right corner menu select "Edit Button"
- Click on "Presets" button
- Click on "the three dot" icon and choose "Import Presets"
- Find the downloaded preset in your files and then click on "Desktop Files"
- Click on individual presets XMP files and import.
